Response to Data Request Item 25
The MSCP identified about 300,000 acre-feet of Arizona water that could move its delivery point from Yuma area to Havasu. The Future Flow-Related Covered Activities for Arizona Water Contract Holders (Section 2.2. of the Final Habitat Conservation Plan & Section 3 of the Final BA) includes permanent changes in point of diversion and transfers of 200,000 acre-feet per year. In addition, the plan includes temporary and interment water exchanges (5 years in duration or less) for 116,000 acre-feet per year.
To date, total expenditures by Arizona to fund the MSCP to date are just over $1.9 million. CAP's contribution is nearly $1.32 million. The remainder of Arizona's contribution is made by 23 other Arizona contributors. See the table below for annual expenditures and contributions.
